Lola Hats, Peanuts Hat

This flower pot bucket is made from a lightweight 1/2” raffia tape that’s stitched into a coil and gradually eased out to form the final shape. The overlapping of the tape ensures excellent sun protection.

The medium downward-sloping brim shades the face. It is edged with a few rows of free-form stitching in the same color as the trim, and a flexible wire allows the wearer to give the hat its own expression.

The crown is wrapped with a washed ribbon that casually twists into a nonchalant knot. The size can be adjusted by tightening or releasing a narrow ribbon inside the crown.
